ANTENA 3 NOTICIAS – Rebranding
Gédéon maintains its long-term relationship with Atresmedia, with the redesign of their leading channel, Antena 3’s newscast. Having delivered a global re-design for the channel last year, we had already identified their fundamental visual codes, in particular, the arrow icon which guides the viewer experience. With this in hand, we worked towards making the surrounding visual system highly adaptable and versatile to suit Antena 3’s varied offering.

We created three logos, one for news, sport and weather, and our dynamic graphic system permits the smooth transition from one logo to the next.
We worked with our partner La Plage Records to create a vivid narrative, full of moments of tension as well as calm.

To create our collection of openers and the loopable backgrounds, we drew on a classic code of news broadcast design: the earth, updating it and making it distinctive by adding the characteristic arrows of Antena 3.
We adopted a color-coded system to accompany the graphic interface of information and to distinguish between the different broadcasts (el tiempo, el deporte, la cultura).

We designed a series of pictograms which can instantly communicate a broad range of subjects whilst remaining consistent with the graphic codes of the Noticias by adhering to a three-color scheme; white, yellow and blue.
