GÉDÉON reviews the design of an historical french TV program : the title sequence of Thalassa.
The traditional morphing takes the shape of a 3D animation, smooth and outlined.
The title sequence keeps the story telling principle of changing one element into another as it has existed for over 20 years, but it gives a modern feeling to the program.
The logo is also evolving to become an "eye-fish", illustrating the crucial link between humanity and sea, underlining the editorial evolution of the show requested by Georges Pernoud.

GÉDÉON revoit un monument du PAF : le générique de Thalassa.
Exercice de style où le traditionnel morphing prend les traits dʼune animation 3D souple et linéaire. Le générique garde le principe narratif d'enchaînement des séquences qui existait depuis 20 ans mais il donne un visage renouvelé et modernisé à l'émission.
Le logo lui aussi évolue pour se transformer en un "poisson-oeil" qui illustre lʼenjeu crucial du rapport de lʼhomme à la mer soulignant ainsi l'évolution de la ligne éditoriale du magazine souhaitée par Georges Pernoud.
